RetailQuotes is run by Web Landscapes LLC. This page says what we keep, why, and for how long.

Shops

When you sign up we keep your email address and, if you add them, your name and your store's details: name, logo, address, phone, catalog, terms and payment link. We use them to run your account and send your sign-in links and alerts.

To protect your account, we also keep the IP address and browser of each sign-in session, for as long as the session lasts (14 days at most).

Your customers

When someone sends a request to a store, we keep what they enter (name, email or phone, items, notes, photos) on behalf of that store. The store decides what to do with it. We don't sell it, share it with other stores, or use it for ads.

When a customer accepts a quote, we log the name they typed, the time, their IP address and browser, and the totals they accepted, so the store has a record. We keep a customer's IP address only with an acceptance. Everywhere else we keep a one-way hash of it, which helps us stop abuse but can't be turned back into the address.

Cookies

We use one cookie, to keep shops signed in. There are no ad or tracking cookies, and customers get none.

Who else handles data

Cloudflare hosts the service, stores the data and photos in the United States, and delivers our emails. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the forms are sent by people, not bots. If you pay for Pro, Stripe handles the payment; we never see your card number.

How long we keep it

Requests, quotes and photos stay until the store deletes them or deletes its store, and at most 12 months after the job is done or closed.

An accepted quote and its acceptance record are business records: they stay as long as the store exists, unless the store deletes them. The photos of that job still go after 12 months.

We keep a copy of each email we send for 30 days, so we can stop abuse and retry failed sends. The text inside is emptied after 7 days, and for sign-in emails within 30 minutes. The copy is deleted after 30 days.

Records used to limit repeated attempts include IP addresses and are deleted after two days. A sign-in session ends after 14 days at most and is then deleted.

Your choices

Shops can export their requests as CSV, delete any request, or delete the whole store at any time. To delete an account, or for any question about your data, email contact@retailquotes.com. Customers can ask the store, or us, to delete what they sent, and every email from a store has a link to stop emails from it.
